Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the head chef in the management and daily operations of the kitchen.
- Prepare and cook highquality dishes that meet the restaurant’s standards.
- Ensure consistency and quality in all food prepared and served.
- Manage and train kitchen staff providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operation.
- Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Develop new recipes and improve existing dishes to enhance the menu.
- Assist in creating a positive and productive team atmosphere.
- Handle food preparation for special events and catering services as required.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.
Essential Qualifications:
No specific educational qualifications required but relevant experience in a professional kitchen is essential.
Desired Experience:
Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong culinary skills and a passion for food are essential. Experience in managing kitchen staff and working in highpressure environments is also advantageous.
