Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries desserts and baked goods to the highest standards.
• Develop and design new pastry recipes that complement the hotel’s seasonal menus.
• Ensure that all desserts and pastries are presented beautifully and creatively.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as necessary to maintain the pastry section.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate dessert offerings within the restaurant.
• Train and mentor junior pastry staff sharing techniques and knowledge.
• Stay updated on current dessert trends and techniques to continually elevate the offerings.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a reputable kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking methods.
• Ability to work in a highpressure environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity in dessert presentation.
• A passion for pastry arts and commitment to excellence.

Desired Experience

• Experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant setting is preferred.
• Proficient in creating a range of pastries cakes and desserts.
• Previous experience in managing a pastry kitchen section is an advantage.
