Job Description
Position: Azure Cloud System Engineer
Location: Online (Locals preferred)
Client: State of North Carolina
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking an Azure Cloud System Engineer to support cloudbased GIS resources. This role involves building and maintaining Azure GIS systems performing system monitoring and enhancing cost efficiency for GIS cloud services. The ideal candidate will collaborate with GIS teams and document procedures for system management and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain DOTs Azure GIS systems.
- Monitor system performance and optimize for efficiency.
- Automate deployments using Bicep and ARM templates.
- Develop scripts using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
- Document procedures for system build monitoring and troubleshooting.
Required Skills:
- Advanced understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment automation (5 years).
- Experience in managing and monitoring cloud systems (5 years).
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and Azure CLI (5 years).
- Knowledge of Azure Monitoring and Azure AppInsights for performance tracking (5 years).
- Strong analytical and communication skills (5 years).
