Job Description

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our dynamic team as a Compliance Specialist. The main function of the Compliance Specialist is to ensure arrange conduct and monitor compliance testing audits and investigations. Also to ensure companywide compliance operations are planned and effectively executed.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Monitor assess and communicate regulatory changes and emerging compliance risks and trends to key partners and stakeholders.
  • Assist business Compliance and other control function partners in responding to client escalations by conducting compiling and presenting research as required.
  • Remain current on emerging trends and developments both within the local region and globally affecting the regulatory environment.
  • Work with legal privacy and product leadership teams to ensure the crosscompany work on regulatory priorities is planned implemented and executed in an efficient & effective manner.
  • Align necessary crossfunctional business strategies to ensure success in operational execution.
  • Drive greater consistency of process practices and execution across companywide privacy workstreams.
  • Project manage and prioritize work based on urgency and complexity while building operational cadences across technical and operational teams to coordinate work.
  • Set priorities multitask and work independently in a dynamic rapidly changing workplace.
Skills:
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to coordinate across diverse functions to achieve business goals.
  • Works well independently and a strong team player.
  • Strong skills in Google Suite.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Excellent business writing skills to update regulatory artifacts Standard Operating Procedures training material etc.
  • 4 years of operations or program management experience (e.g. organizationwide initiatives large scale integration management).

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings and participate in teambuilding efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions peer reviews etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OPWiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
