Position : Systems Engineer MS Exchange
Location : St. Louis MO
Duration : 12 Months with EXT
Required:
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- 3 plus years of related experience managing Microsoft Exchange environments including hybrid deployments of Exchange Online and Exchange OnPremises
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange architecture administration and troubleshooting
- Experience monitoring system performance availability and security ensuring optimal operation and compliance with company policies
- Experience performing regular maintenance tasks such as certificate renewals patching and software updates
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to email delivery access and performance
- Experience with email security technologies and best practices
- Experience creating managing and troubleshooting complex distribution lists including dynamic distribution lists and nested groups
- Experience configuring managing and troubleshooting Exchange connectors
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for management tasks and reporting
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 cloud and internal environments
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in providing technical support and guidance to endusers and other IT staff
- Professional communication abilities both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fastpaced high demand and challenging environment
- Investigate diagnose and resolve complex issues without known solutions
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations procedures and policies
- Create and publish documentation of knowledge resulting from investigative and support activities for future occurrences
- Leverage own technical expertise peer engineers knowledge articles and other internal tools to provide the most effective solutions to customer issues
- Perform task automation identify and implement process improvements
- Provide support during normal business hours with flexibility to participate in afterhours work major problem management and an oncall rotation
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices recommending improvements and enhancements to the Exchange environment
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems Management Information Systems or commensurate experience
- Experience with F5 load balancers
- General understanding of Android OS and iOS
- Splunk experience
- Working knowledge of JIRA
- Experience with Microsoft Intune is a plus
- Relevant Microsoft Exchange and M365 certifications are a plus
