Job Description
Role Automotive Lubricants and Powertrain Testing R&D Senior Manager
Location Navi Mumbai
Work from office
Experience 10 Years
Required Skills
- Responsible for lubricant development for automotive applications including formulation development testing and monitoring
- Mandatory experience in full lubricant development cycle (mainly on road application : motorcycle and passenger car oils) and engine testings (mainly conventional)
- Experience working on lubricant development projects with OEMs
- Possess expertise in engine testing additive evaluation and powertrain testing
- Chemical or Mechanical engineer of high scientific level. With 10 years of experience (from additives suppliers lubricant industries mainly). PhD would be a plus.
- Experience managing a team of 2 to 3 members (technicians and engineers) to conduct assigned work requests and research study
- Open to working from the office at least three days a week
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs the R&D work (the routine tests and the developments of new methods) related to R&D projects in lubricants
Manages and prioritizes the work and assign the job to engineers and technicians of the team.
Provides regular updates on the work progress to R&D organization and internal clients.
Responsible for the quality of the R&D work.
Timely completion of R&D study assigned.
Follows the technological evolution of techniques equipments raw materials and competitors products to keep abreast of latest
developments in domains in charge.
Responsible for the correct implementation and maintenance of TCAP management systems.
Manages and prioritizes the work and assign the job to engineers and technicians of the team.
