Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting construction drawings performing estimates for various trades including masonry drywall carpentry finishes and millwork and maintaining construction schedules. This position requires experience in government project estimation and knowledge of estimating techniques to accurately forecast costs and material requirements.
Education: Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of Government Projects: Previous experience estimating for government construction projects and understanding of related regulations and procedures.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g. ProEst Buildertrend or similar).
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
