Job Description
The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of communitybased organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and to
provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish.
The IT Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for:
Designing developing and executing tests that can verify a software projects functionality and performance Conduct manual testing to ensure the developed software performs in accordance with
the requirements and is in a bug free state to be released for User Acceptance Testing.
Review software requirements and create test cases. Collaborate with colleagues to confirm testing results.
Coordinate and prioritize testing activities with colleagues and obtain authorization for
accuracy.
To provide assistance and feedback with team members to validate test results. Ability to execute all test cases.
Manage report and triage defects among the application team Define severity and priority for each defect reported with status Perform regression testing for code changes that applies to defects

Qualifications :
1. A certificate from an accredited technical school (approximately 675 hours) with a specialization in computer operations and two years of satisfactory fulltime computer operations experience in a largescale networked multi tiered or mainframe computer environment or two years of satisfactory data communications network experience working in a mainframe or multitiered computer environment; or
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and three years of satisfactory fulltime experience as described in 1 above; or
3. A fouryear high school diploma or its educational equivalent and four years of satisfactory fulltime experience as described
in 1 above; or
4. A satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to 1 2or 3 above. However all candidates must have at least two years of fulltime experience as described in 1 above
