Your Role:
- To work as part of a team in provision of an efficient professional and customer focussed 1st Line Equipment Support (ES) / Equipment Care (EC) Workshop to meet Contract Business and Customer requirements.
- To work with/on a varied fleet of vehicles and specialist equipment.
- Work towards the achievement of an Apprenticeship Standard Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician qualification including attendance at training provider / college location (at agreed frequency/duration periods) and completion and achievement of all assignments and assessments related to the technical certificate within set deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to business and agreed customer quality standards procedures contract performance indicators (PIs) and Internal / External audit standards. Including inspection fault diagnosis repair maintenance servicing and modification to all vehicles and miscellaneous equipments maintained by the business.
What Were Looking For:
- Qualifications: Essential Minimum of 2 GCSEs (English and Maths) at grade C/4 or above or equivalent qualifications and Desirable additional 2 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above. Also must be able to attend college be prepared to travel and stay overnight.
- Experience: Although experience is not required you must have a genuine desire to develop knowledge and experience of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Skills: Ability to work as part of a team (this could be in a sporting educational or social setting. Ability to work in an organised and methodical way to analyse and solve problems. Strong attention to detail with the ability to be able to apply both verbal and written instructions.
- Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence desirable
