Job Description
Rome Memorial Hospital is looking for Locum Hospitalists
Practice Setting: inpatient rounding and admitting with open ICU. covering rapids as well. Days and nights are options.
Reason for Coverage: Increased volume
Dates of Coverage: March 1 to August for now.
Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult Medicine
Do APPs Provide Coverage No
Will Other Hospitalists be Present During Locums Coverage Yes
Average Number of Patients Per Day ADMISSIONS: 3
Average Number of Patients Per Day ICU: 12
Average Number of Patients Per Day INPATIENT: 1620
Will the Locum Physician Respond to InHouse Codes: Yes
Areas of Rounding What floors 2nd floor medicine.
Will the Locum be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers No
Number of ICU Beds: 10
Documentation System/EMR: Paragon EMR
Procedures/Duties Required: None are required but if providers wants to can ask for privileges.
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
Facility will reimburse for the following costs: Flight Hotel Rental Car
Duties PEDIATRICS: General Inpatient
Required Procedures: Evaluation and Mgmt of Acute Volume / BP Issues

Requirement description :
- Board Certified/Board Eligible REQUIRED
- NY License (Will accept those willing to obtain) REQUIRED
- ACLS BLS and NIHSS REQUIRED
- Local Preferred
