Job Description
We are looking for a Java Developer II on a multinational Fortune 500 project in Toronto Canada. Shape innovative solutions and drive technological excellence. Apply now to be a valued member of our clients dynamic team. It is a hybrid opportunity in Toronto Canada.
Responsibilities:
Involve with all aspects of software development working to create and maintain the most reliable secure performant and high throughput service for our customers by applying cloud technology
Partner with product managers product owners software architects and other development teams to iteratively turn highlevel requirements into product enhancements that are delivered to customers incrementally.
Contribute to software design and architecture by using cloud design patterns and injecting your cloud expertise into the entire development lifecycle.
Contribute to improvements in processes and deliverables that increase the effectiveness of the team in responding to customers and needs Document and present your ideas and solutions thoroughly Work with some of the smartest mentor and be mentored.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
3 years of software design development and/or consulting experience in cloud systems or web services
Excellent handson Java programming skills and exposure to Spring Boot
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes tools and Agile methodologies
Handson experience with AWS or other cloud providers
Experince with API development experience (REST GraphQL gRPC)
Additional programming skills like Go or TypeScript
Experience with objectoriented design patterns
Experience with continuous refactoring
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience working with a deployment pipeline such as Jenkins
Experience with Databases and database design principles at cloud scale
Familiarity with building scalable systems and services in the cloud.
