Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MDGFI Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP MDGFI strong technical expertise and experience in implementing and managing financial master data solutions. As an SAP MDGFI Consultant you will play a key role in ensuring the quality governance and seamless integration of financial master data across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. MDGFI Implementation and Configuration
- Design configure and implement SAP MDGFI solutions for financial master data including General Ledger (GL) Chart of Accounts Cost Centers Profit Centers and Fixed Assets.
- Customize data models UI configurations and governance workflows for managing financial master data processes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards for financial data management.
2. Workflow Management
- Develop and configure rulebased workflows using BRF and Workflow Builder for approvals and governance processes.
- Enhance workflows for multilevel approvals notifications escalations and audit tracking.
3. Technical Development (ABAP & BRF)
- Create enhancements custom validations and derivations using ABAP in MDGFI.
- Develop BRF rules for data validation derivation and duplicate detection for financial master data.
- Ensure highquality coding standards and performance optimization for custom developments.
4. Integration
- Integrate SAP MDGFI with SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC and external systems using ALE/IDocs SLT SAP PI/PO or APIs.
- Enable realtime replication of financial master data across systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.
5. Data Quality and Governance
- Implement data quality checks validation rules and duplicate detection mechanisms to maintain the integrity of financial master data.
- Design and maintain audit trails and governance monitoring systems.
6. Data Migration and Consolidation
- Conduct financial master data migration activities using SAP Data Services and LSMW.
- Consolidate financial master data from multiple systems into a unified SAP MDGFI environment.
7. Business Process Analysis
- Analyze design and optimize finance master data processes to align with business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and deliver MDGFI solutions for data governance.
8. Documentation and Training
- Prepare detailed technical and functional documentation for MDGFI configurations workflows and custom developments.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for data stewards endusers and other stakeholders.
9. Root Cause Analysis
- Troubleshoot issues in data replication and validation. Perform root cause analysis and provide resolutions to ensure smooth operations.
10. Soft Skills and Collaboration
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including FICO ABAP Basis and integration experts to deliver highquality solutions.
- Demonstrate strong problemsolving skills effective communication and stakeholder management to ensure project success.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 4 8 years of SAP experience with a minimum of 4 years in SAP MDGFI.
- Handson experience in financial master data processes and governance.

- Technical Skills:
- SAP MDG ABAP (enhancements) BRF Workflow Management SAP PI/PO ALE/IDocs.
- Expertise in SAP Data Services LSMW and data migration tools.

- Functional Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Financial Master Data including GL Accounts Cost Centers Profit Centers Fixed Assets and Company Codes.

- Preferred Skills:
