Job Description
We are looking for a bilingual (SpanishEnglish) insurance agent to join our insurance office located in Hollywood. The ideal candidate will have a 440 or 220 license. The pay rate is between $18 to $20 per hour fulltime.
Tasks
Responsibilities:
- Meet production goals and objectives for new business.
- Writing Homeowners Insurance.
- Prospect new business opportunities via phone networking and other lead sources.
- Develop insurance quotes present proposals and close sales.
- Build ongoing networking relationships with real estate agents mortgage lenders title companies car dealerships etc.
- Stay updated on new insurance products.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in writing Homeowners Insurance.
- Must hold at least a 440 or 220 license.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines quoting and binding new insurance coverage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable honest and has reliable transportation to work.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
