Job Description
Role: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Woodbridge NJ onsite 4 days/week
Must have Property and Casualty experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Based on project requirements and technical design develop & execute software test cases
- Plan test schedules & strategies in accordance with project scope & delivery dates
- Document test cases results and defects utilizing Micro Focus (formerly HP) Quality Center/ALM
- Create and manage test data including data for use by automated scripts where applicable
- Document and communicate project quality over the course of testing including readiness for release using our standard test process and status reporting template
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
- Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase largely through test information sharing and test data creation for UAT team members using our automated processes
Desired Skills:
- 35 years testing and/or Property & Casualty Insurance experience
- Experience with Quality Center/ALM for requirements test case and defect management
- Data testing experience including writing SQL and working with XML files
- Exposure to Property & Casualty Insurance a plus
- Excellent skills as a communicator and facilitator both written and oral
- Ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish a common goal
- Selfstarter with strong negotiation conflict resolution and influencing skills
- A process improvement mindset
