Job Description
Job Title: Dynamics Developer
Location: Richmond VA (Hybrid)
Required to work in office 3 days a week initially then once a month
Work for VDOT as a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer
Must have expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Dynamics 365 Customer Service module
Responsible for Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization configuration development deployment and usage
Assist in requirements gathering fitgap analysis design configuration implementation testing and support of Microsoft Power Platform solutions
Expected to design develop new web components using .NET SQL Azure Power Platform (Dynamics 365 Power Apps Power Automate Dataverse) and C#
Troubleshoot and remediate technical issues related to Dynamics 365
Understand Microsofts licensing model for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
Adhere to best practices for business solutions and provide governance approach for platform use
Develop and share documentation on platform usage
Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements to meet business needs
Function as a liaison between IT and business units
Assist customers in identifying the best technological solution for their needs
Improve processes and policies within the Business Enablement Services program
Experience with Devops in Power Platform is preferred
Other duties as assigned
Should have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Must have clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work within a team and manage individual tasks
Ability to quickly adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Should rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
Must be able to independently perform a variety of complicated tasks
Work with a team of Developers and System Engineers
Should be clear and effective in communication
Review and refine existing processes to align with agency/group priorities
Review existing procedures and propose execute and/or direct necessary changes
Participate in oncall duties as necessary
Ability to work from home and provide expected level of support
Availability to support afterhours work as needed.
