Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Operator to join a leading Pharmaceutical Company. This role involves operating and monitoring production equipment while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety regulations and company policies. The operator will work in a regulated sterile environment to maintain high product quality and meet production targets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up operate and monitor production equipment according to approved procedures and instructions.
- Ensure equipment is calibrated maintained and functioning correctly before and during production.
- Execute production processes such as blending granulation compression coating and packaging following batch records and SOPs.
- Conduct inprocess quality checks and inspections to ensure product consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Accurately complete batch records logbooks and production documentation per regulatory requirements.
- Identify and report any deviations equipment malfunctions or nonconformances to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety protocols including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with GMP SOPs and regulatory standards ensuring a sterile and organized production environment.
- Perform cleaning and sanitization of equipment and work areas as per schedules and SOPs.
- Assist in equipment maintenance perform minor adjustments and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Handle raw materials intermediates and finished products following inventory control and handling procedures.
- Collaborate with production supervisors quality control and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and production quality.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) Diploma in Engineering or ITI in Machine Operation or a related field.
- 515 years of experience in a production role within the pharmaceutical or related manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) SOPs and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance.
- Ability to operate maintain and troubleshoot production equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Detailoriented with a strong commitment to product quality and safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced regulated production environment with strict adherence to deadlines.
