Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP BW Functional Analyst Principal to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring implementing and supporting SAP BW systems ensuring optimal business intelligence solutions and executing key projects. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in SAP BW data warehousing and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP BW System Configuration and Setup: Design configure and implement SAP BW solutions in alignment with business requirements.
Analysis and Solution Implementation: Perform indepth business analysis translating business needs into actionable SAP BW solutions.
Project Execution: Lead and participate in SAP BWrelated projects ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Data Warehousing with BW/4HANA: Develop and optimize data warehousing solutions using BW/4HANA.
Business Intelligence Reporting: Leverage SAP Business Objects and SAP Analytics Cloud to provide meaningful business insights.
Performance Tuning: Monitor troubleshoot and optimize SAP BW performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with key business stakeholders technical teams and project managers to ensure seamless integration of SAP BW solutions.
Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to endusers and support teams on SAP BW functionalities.
Qualifications & Experience:
SAP BW Certification (Mandatory)
8 years of experience in SAP BW with exposure to BW/4HANA being highly beneficial.
Strong experience in SAP BW system configuration implementation and support.
Proven ability to execute business intelligence projects successfully.
Handson experience in SAP Business Objects and SAP Analytics Cloud.
Solid knowledge of data warehousing principles and ETL processes.
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of SAP BW experience.
Other Requirements:
Local Government experience would be highly advantageous.
Residing in Cape Town is strongly recommended due to project needs and onsite collaboration.
Comprehensive understanding of SAP Business Intelligence solutions and related processes.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
