Job Description
Our client a leading Manufacturing supplier in GTA Ontario is currently looking for a fulltime permanent Dual Ticket (Millwright/ Electrician) with solid experience in Automotive Food and manufacturing sector.
Job: Dual Ticket (Millwright/ Electrician)
Pay: $42 55 Benefits.
Location: GTA Ontario
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain packaging equipment and high speed PLC controlled equipment.
- Repair and maintain processing and material handling equipment.
- Carry out requirements of Preventative Maintenance programs.
- Perform facility repairs as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner and complies with applicable industry standards.
- Repair upgrade and install electronic controls and equipment.
- Program and modify PLCs.
- Train other mechanics in electronic controls.
- Assist equipment operators to improve line efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent.
- Preference given to candidates with previous experience in an automotive and manufacturing environment.
- Millwright & Electrical licenses required.
- 5 years experience in repair and overhaul troubleshooting of processing packaging and material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Preference given to candidates with experience with welding and machining
- Troubleshooting electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems
