Job Description
Dream Nannies is looking for a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for a sweet newborn baby boy near South Fulton Atlanta GA. By March 1st he will be five months old and currently takes three naps a day ranging from 30 minutes to two hours. His parents are seeking a nanny who can help establish a consistent sleep schedule as he currently wakes every two hours at night to eat.
The ideal candidate will have infant experience and be knowledgeable about physical and mental developmental milestones. Sleep training experience is a huge plus as the parents want guidance in helping him develop healthy sleep habits. The nanny will also assist in making purees (one new food per week to monitor allergies) and engaging him in ageappropriate activities including tummy time sensory play reading and walks. Familiarity with developmental tools like the Wonder Weeks app is a plus.
As he grows responsibilities will evolve but the nanny must be comfortable navigating stairs as his nursery is upstairs. They have a small 15 lb dog so occasional pet care such as letting the dog out and feeding him if needed is required. During naps the nanny will handle light baby laundry organizing his room and clothes rotating toys unloading the dishwasher keeping floors tidy for the baby taking out the diaper pail and restocking diaper stations. Family laundry is a bonus if time allows.
The schedule is Monday to Friday 8 AM 4 PM and mom works from home so they need someone who is calm reliable detailoriented and able to give advice in a humble supportive way. Their home has a pool so the nanny must know how to swim. The position offers $25$26 per hour for the right candidate.
