Superb Nurse Practitioner Opportunity!
A Longterm care group is in search of a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to see geriatric patients in nursing homes located in the five towns.
Requirements:
- Valid NP license in the state of NY
- Nursing Home experience a must
- Credentialed with Medicare strongly preferred
Duties will include:
- Managing all Primary Care related consults
- History and physical exam
- Medication review
- Prescribe medication and drugs
- Check in with patients who have acute issues and establish a followup plan
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on medical knowledge and the patients medical history
Schedule:
- 8hour shifts
- Working days: Sunday Tuesday Thursday Friday and Saturday
