Adelphi is seeking pharmacists to provide services at a facility in Albuquerque New Mexico. The ideal candidates will be responsible for dispensing medications as prescribed by healthcare providers as well as offering medication counseling to patients on proper usage potential side effects interactions and storage among other duties.

Requirements:
Graduate of ACPE accredited college with a baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) and/or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
New Mexico License for Pharmacology
DEA License for Opiate Substitution
BLS/ACLS
Inpatient Pharmacist must have Inpatient Pharmacist experience
Outpatient Pharmacist must have Outpatient Pharmacist experience
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Provide medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage side effects interactions and storage.
Monitor drug therapy for therapeutic effectiveness and safety.
Ensure compliance with federal state and facility regulations related to controlled substances.
Participate in formulary management and maintain compliance with guidelines.
Prepare and compound medications including sterile products following USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to recommend alternative therapies and dosage adjustments.
Maintain accurate documentation in the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS).
Any other duties as assigned.
Note: Pharmacists who have current full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states but who have or ever had a license restricted suspended revoked voluntarily revoked voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.
