Pay Rate: $71 $89 per hour (USD)
Position Summary
KPMG is seeking an experienced Network Architect to design implement and manage the organizations network infrastructure with a strong emphasis on security scalability and performance. This role requires a skilled professional who can create innovative solutions while maintaining operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Network Design and Architecture
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for local and wide area networks ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals.
- Evaluate and integrate cuttingedge technologies to optimize network performance while enhancing security measures.
- Design futurefocused highperformance network solutions to address evolving business requirements.
Implementation and Deployment
- Lead the deployment of complex network systems with precision to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Manage the installation configuration and integration of network hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
Network Management and Maintenance
- Monitor network performance addressing any issues to ensure optimal reliability and uptime.
- Implement robust security protocols to safeguard the organizations network infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Regularly assess and update the network to align with the latest industry best practices and standards.
Documentation and Support
- Maintain detailed documentation of architecture designs configurations and troubleshooting procedures to ensure consistent knowledge transfer.
- Provide technical support to IT staff and endusers acting as a mentor and expert resource.
- Organize training sessions to improve the technical knowledge of the IT team.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Partner with IT management business units and stakeholders to understand networking requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and technicians fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Participate in strategic planning to drive the technological growth of the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in AWS Azure and Cloud Network Design.
- Proficiency in Network Architecture Network Design and Network Management.
- Handson experience with VMware and enterpriselevel systems.
- Strong analytical and strategicthinking abilities with the capacity to address both highlevel architecture and intricate technical details.
Additional Insights
The role requires a balance of vision and execution. The Network Architect will dedicate about 75% of their efforts to futureoriented design reengineering enterpriselevel alignment and architecture strategy. The remaining 25% will involve troubleshooting and indepth technical analysis.
