Job Description
Pay Rate: 24.46 per hour
- Maintain and operate two stage ammonia systems boiler systems air systems main water systems and their subsidiary equipment in a safe efficient and competent manner under the direction of a Watch Engineer
Qualifications :
- Completion of a 2 Year Industrial Refrigeration certification preferred
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
- Must be able to work under the supervision of a Watch Engineer
- Must be able to work with other Refrigeration and Maintenance personnel
- Must posses a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read and understand equipment manuals
- Must be able to read write and comprehend English
- Must be able to be certified for the use of a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
- Must be able to be certified for use of an Air Purifying Respirator (APR)
- Must be able to document shift equipment issues in Log
- Must be able to perform basic math functions and formulas
- Must be able to bend and stoop
- Must be able to climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces safely
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
- Must be able to work from high altitudes catwalks and roofs
- Must be able to work on wet concrete floor walk and stoop for prolonged periods of times
- Must be able to work all shifts as may be required
- Must be able to work overtime weekends and times dictated by production/equipment requirements/needs
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
