We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in designing implementing maintaining and supporting our companys IT network and infrastructure ensuring its reliability security and performance. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of various IT systems and a passion for problemsolving. You will work closely with other teams to deliver seamless IT services to our internal users and clients.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management & Support:
Design implement and maintain core IT infrastructure components including network infrastructure (LAN/WAN firewalls routers switches) server infrastructure (physical and virtual) storage systems telephony systems (VoIP/PBX) and related software.
Provide comprehensive technical support for all infrastructure systems and services including troubleshooting incident management and problem resolution.
Proactively monitor IT infrastructure systems (24/5) to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
Manage and resolve infrastructurelevel incidents escalated by Client Services adhering to established procedures and escalation protocols.
Lead or participate in Major/Crisis Incident Management leveraging your troubleshooting expertise.
Collaborate with vendors service providers and contractors for infrastructurerelated projects and support.
Perform regular system upgrades and firmware updates to maintain security and stability.
Implement and operate monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
Generate and manage incidents changes and requests within our ITSM portal.
Provide regular and timely status reports on systems and services.
Communicate system and service event status effectively using established protocols.
Drive process improvements to reduce Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Restore (MTTR) for incidents.
Complete daily operational tasks within defined SLAs.
Provide "smart hand" support as needed acting as a proxy for remote resources.
Device Management:
Implement configure and monitor device management policies ensuring compliance and responding to noncompliance.
Conduct thorough testing of updates before release.
Manage the rollout of tested updates to all managed devices.
Authentication & Security:
Create and manage Single SignOn (SSO) and MultiFactor Authentication (MFA) policies for Google Workspace and synced applications (e.g. Zoho Zoom RingCentral).
Implement and maintain data loss prevention (DLP) policies and respond to quarantines.
Manage cloudbased URL filtering including creating managing and supporting URL filtering policies SSL certificates and cloud application control.
Generate reports and analyze blocked traffic and traffic that bypasses filtering.
Proactively manage identified violators to mitigate data loss risks.
Email & Collaboration Systems:
Manage support and troubleshoot email routing spam filters email alerts phishing attempts and other emailrelated issues.
Address email authentication issues delivery failures and ensure email delivery assurance.
Servers & Domain Management:
Manage and maintain production and test instances of cloud servers (e.g. Lightsail).
Collaborate with stakeholders and developers on testing and deployment for significant changes.
Monitor resource utilization manage capacity and optimize server performance.
Manage and update website certificates.
Ensure regular backups are running and readily available.
Create and maintain domain records ensuring domain renewal and security.
Telephony:
Manage and maintain VoIP and PBX systems.
Troubleshoot telephony issues including call quality call routing and call forwarding.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure adherence to company policies and security standards and participate in regular audits.
Maintain uptodate documentation for daily operations and troubleshooting.
Identify process and protocol gaps and recommend improvements.
Correlate problems by monitoring tickets event reporting systems and other information sources.
Qualifications (MUST HAVE):
Bachelor s degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent education.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in systems administration.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Experience in managing multiple operating systems such as Windows Linux Unix etc.
Experience in setting up and configuring Active Directory Google Workspace Azure AD or similar technologies.
Experience with setting up and configuration of servers such as but not limited to Active Directory File and Storage servers DNS servers Proxy DHCP Web servers Network Monitoring server etc.
Experience with other Enterprise and Service Provider platforms and architectures or similar technologies such as Zoho Zscaler PRTG and PFSense.
Experience with patch management WSUS or similar platforms.
Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols.
Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills independent excellent interpersonal skills highly motivated and able to work under pressure.
Good to intermediate English communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be willing to work in Makati City 24/7 shifting schedule with minimal coverage during holidays and weekends.
Must be willing to travel to different sites (Makati BGC etc.).
Qualifications (GOOD TO HAVE):
Experience with email spam filtering and phishing management.
Experience with managing and maintaining data centers or server rooms (monitoring and supporting health/resources of devices rack utilization power capacity disaster recovery).
Experience in configuring Cisco switches and devices.
Experience in PowerShell and/or VB scripting.
Experience in VoIP solutions.
Experience with domain management.
Experience in setting up and supporting AWS platforms.
Experience in Firewall and Antivirus management.
Having CCNA CompTIA Server AWS Cloud Practitioner MCSE/MCSA certifications or equivalent.
