Se rapportant au Directeur TI lAdministrateur(trice) de systmes joue un rle cl dans notre transformation technologique vers le cloud et lintgration des nouvelles acquisitions. Dans un contexte de globalisation et de croissance vous serez au cur de notre volution technologique participant activement la modernisation de notre infrastructure et lharmonisation de nos systmes.

Expert(e) technique chevronn(e) vous combinez une solide expertise des environnements Microsoft 365 Azure et VMware avec une vision stratgique de linfrastructure cloud. Au sein dune quipe dynamique base Montral vous contribuerez directement notre excellence oprationnelle travers la standardisation et loptimisation de nos systmes.

Votre mission consiste  :

A. Vision globale & veille technologique

• Vous pilotez la transformation de notre infrastructure vers le cloud Azure dfinissant larchitecture cible et tablissant la feuille de route de migration pour lensemble de nos systmes. Votre vision stratgique guide lvolution de notre plateforme technologique.
• En tant que rfrent(e) technique vous assurez une veille constante sur les innovations Microsoft 365 et Azure valuant leur potentiel dapplication pour optimiser nos oprations et maintenir notre avantage comptitif dans un contexte de croissance internationale.

B. Excellence oprationnelle

• Procdures oprationnelles standardises (SOP)
  • Vous grez lensemble de nos environnements Microsoft 365 Azure et Intune assurant leur performance optimale et leur volution constante. Votre expertise en automatisation (PowerShell Bash) permet doptimiser nos processus et de maintenir une infrastructure robuste.
  • Dans le cadre des acquisitions vous orchestrez les migrations de systmes complexes assurant une intgration harmonieuse des nouvelles entits dans notre cosystme technologique tout en minimisant limpact sur les oprations.
• Qualit et service client
  • Vous supervisez la rsolution des incidents critiques apportant votre expertise technique pour maintenir un niveau de service optimal. Votre approche proactive de la maintenance systme permet de prvenir les problmes avant quils naffectent les utilisateurs.
• Coaching et gestion de projet
  • En tant que leader technique vous guidez lquipe dans ladoption des nouvelles technologies cloud partageant votre expertise travers des formations et du mentorat. Vous coordonnez les projets dinfrastructure majeurs de la conception la mise en production.

C. Scurit

• Surveiller et rpondre aux alertes de scurit pour toutes les rgions via les solutions EDR dployes par Talan tout en assurant la gestion de la scurit de notre rseau interne selon le cadre de scurit Talan. Votre rle comprend la dtection proactive des menaces et la coordination des rponses aux incidents.
• Mettre profit votre expertise Fortinet pour maintenir et optimiser notre infrastructure de scurit rseau interne garantissant lalignement avec les standards de scurit globaux tout en implmentant des mesures de scurit locales spcifiques notre environnement.
• Collaborer avec les quipes de scurit globales pour assurer une posture de scurit cohrente travers les rgions tout en maintenant un contrle autonome sur nos composants de scurit dinfrastructure locale.

D. Standardisation des meilleures pratiques

• Vous tablissez les standards dinfrastructure cloud et onpremise crant un rfrentiel de meilleures pratiques qui guide lvolution de notre plateforme technique. Votre documentation claire et prcise facilite le maintien et lvolution de nos systmes.
• En tant que gardien(ne) de la qualit technique vous dveloppez des processus dautomatisation et des standards de configuration qui permettent une gestion efficace de notre infrastructure en croissance.

Job Description

Reporting to the IT Director the System Administrator plays a pivotal role in our technological transformation journey towards cloud infrastructure and the integration of new acquisitions. In a context of global expansion and growth you will be at the heart of our technological evolution actively driving the modernization of our infrastructure and the harmonization of our systems.

As a seasoned technical expert you will combine deep expertise in Microsoft 365 Azure and VMware environments with a strategic vision for cloud infrastructure. Based in Montreal within a dynamic team you will directly contribute to our operational excellence through system standardization and optimization.

Your mission consists of:

A. Strategic Vision & Technology Watch

• Lead our infrastructure transformation to Azure cloud developing target architecture and establishing migration roadmaps across our systems. Your strategic vision shapes the evolution of our technology platform and drives innovation across the organization.
• As a technical authority maintain constant awareness of Microsoft 365 and Azure innovations evaluating their potential to optimize our operations and maintain competitive advantage in an international growth context.

B. Operational Excellence

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Manage our Microsoft 365 Azure and Intune environments ensuring optimal performance and continuous evolution. Your automation expertise in PowerShell and Bash drives process optimization and maintains robust infrastructure.
  • Orchestrate complex system migrations during acquisitions ensuring seamless integration of new entities into our technological ecosystem while minimizing operational impact.
• Quality and Customer Service
  • Oversee critical incident resolution providing technical expertise to maintain optimal service levels. Your proactive approach to system maintenance prevents issues before they impact users.
• Coaching and Project Management
  • As a technical leader guide the team in adopting new cloud technologies sharing expertise through training and mentoring. Coordinate major infrastructure projects from design to production deployment.

C. Security

• Monitor and respond to security alerts across all regions through EDR solutions implemented by Talan while managing internal network security according to Talans security framework. Your role involves proactive threat detection and incident response coordination.
• Leverage Fortinet expertise to maintain and optimize our internal network security infrastructure ensuring alignment with global security standards while implementing local security measures specific to our environment.
• Collaborate with global security teams to ensure consistent security posture across regions while maintaining autonomous control over our local infrastructure security components.

D. Best Practices Standardization

• Establish cloud and onpremise infrastructure standards creating a best practices framework that guides our technical platform evolution. Your clear and precise documentation facilitates system maintenance and evolution.
• As a technical quality guardian develop automation processes and configuration standards enabling efficient management of our growing infrastructure.

Qualifications :

Formation et expertise technique

• Diplme universitaire en informatique ou domaine connexe combin 510 ans dexprience en administration systme
• Expertise approfondie de Microsoft 365 Azure et des solutions EDR avec une exprience significative dans la gestion de projets de migration cloud
• Matrise avance de PowerShell et Bash pour lautomatisation des processus dinfrastructure
• Exprience confirme en gestion dinfrastructure VMware et administration des rseaux Fortinet

Exprience spcifique

• Ralisations dmontres dans la conduite de projets de migration vers le cloud et lintgration de systmes lors de fusions/acquisitions
• Solide expertise dans la gestion denvironnements techniques complexes et leur transformation
• Exprience avec les outils dintgration tels que Quest pour les migrations de tenant (atout)
• Capacit prouve en documentation darchitecture systme et standardisation des processus

• Orientation service client marque avec une approche structure de la rsolution de problmes
• Leadership technique dmontr dans la gestion de projets dinfrastructure complexes

Qualifications

Education and Technical Expertise

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field combined with 510 years of system administration experience
• Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 Azure and EDR solutions with significant experience in cloud migration projects
• Advanced mastery of PowerShell and Bash for infrastructure process automation
• Proven experience in VMware infrastructure management and Fortinet network administration

Specific Experience

• Demonstrated achievements in cloud migration projects and system integration during mergers/acquisitions
• Strong expertise in managing complex technical environments and driving their transformation
• Experience with integration tools such as Quest software for tenant migrations (asset)
• Proven track record in system architecture documentation and process standardization

Operational Excellence

• Strong customer service orientation with a structured approach to problemsolving
• Demonstrated technical leadership in managing complex infrastructure projects
• Ability to effectively manage priorities in a rapidly evolving environment

Communication

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English essential for effective interaction with teams across North America
• Ability to explain technical concepts and positively influence stakeholders
