Job Title: Sr Storage and Backup Engineer

Job Duration: 6 Months
Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Senior Storage & Backup Engineer to design implement and manage storage solutions while providing Level 3 support. The role involves working across multivendor storage and backup environments collaborating with infrastructure application and security teams and driving automation and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain storage & backup solutions.
- Provide Level 3 support for storage incidents and troubleshooting.
- Manage NFS exports CIFS shares and SAN provisioning.
- Monitor system performance and optimize storage resources.
- Ensure security compliance system access and configuration management.
- Automate tasks using scripting & Ansible.
- Research and implement automation & monitoring tools.
- Document procedures and create knowledge base articles.
- Participate in oncall rotation support.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in Storage & Backup Administration.
- Expertise in SAN/NAS storage systems (NetApp EMC HPE IBM Cisco Rubrik Brocade).
- SAN/Storage Administration certification required.
- Strong knowledge of AIX Linux Windows VMware environments.
- Experience with automation & scripting (e.g. Ansible).
