As the Supervisor of Venues & Outlets/Caf Laurier you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by overseeing daily operations leading a dedicated team and ensuring seamless service in both the outlets and Caf Laurier. Your ability to balance operational efficiency team development and guest satisfaction will contribute to the overall success of the venues.
Guest Service:
- Consistently deliver exceptional guest service in line with Fairmonts luxury standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests addressing inquiries concerns and special requests with professionalism.
- Monitor and maintain the ambiance and cleanliness of the outlets and caf to reflect Fairmonts brand image.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and motivate a team of associates fostering a culture of collaboration inclusivity and high performance.
- Conduct daily briefings to communicate goals updates and service expectations.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure team members deliver luxury experiences.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the daytoday operations of the outlets and Caf Laurier including scheduling inventory management and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor product quality and availability coordinating with suppliers as needed.
Sales & Revenue Management:
- Support retail and caf sales initiatives including upselling and crosspromotion.
- Analyze revenue reports and provide recommendations for optimizing profitability.
- Assist in executing marketing strategies to drive guest traffic and loyalty.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as Culinary to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Attend management meetings to contribute insights and align on overall hotel goals.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a luxury retail or food & beverage environment preferably within a hotel setting.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for luxury hospitality retail and exceptional service delivery.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
- Proficiency in pointofsale (POS) systems and basic financial reporting.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends holidays and evenings.
