Job Description
NC DHHS seeks a Technical Support Analyst for a contract position.
- Tech Support Services requires a shortterm contractor in the role of Technical Support Analyst.
- This position will provide much needed support for administration of production DB2 CICS Endevor and X/PTRsystems.
- The person filling thisposition should have
- Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality
- The ability to provide configuration management / release management support and guidance for Endevor software
- Thorough knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques
- Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2
- The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings
- The ability to provide CICS administration problemsolving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnel
