Job Description
As a Technical Writer you will be responsible for creating editing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for our software products and development processes. You will work closely with software engineers product managers and other stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into clear concise and userfriendly documentation for various audiences including developers system administrators and endusers.
Reporting to the Engineering Director you will work within a cross functional agile team.

Write edit and update technical documentation including API documentation user guides release notes installation manuals and troubleshooting guides.
Collaborate with software engineers product managers and QA teams to gather and verify technical information.
Understand complex software systems and development lifecycles to document them effectively.
Ensure that documentation adheres to company standards for quality style and formatting.
Translate technical jargon into content that is accessible to different audiences including nontechnical users.
Manage the documentation lifecycle ensuring that documents are regularly updated to reflect new features changes and enhancements.
Review and edit existing documentation for clarity accuracy and completeness.
Contribute to the development of documentation templates style guides and best practices.
Assist in the creation of diagrams flowcharts and other visual aids to enhance the documentation.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align documentation with software development cycles product launches and updates.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Technical Writing Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a technical writer in a software development environment.
Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills with an ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile Scrum etc.).
Experience with tools such as Confluence Jira Git Markdown or similar documentation management platforms.
Strong understanding of software development processes APIs and technical workflows.
Ability to create and manage documentation for multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
