Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Controller who can combine firstclass analytical skills with a creative and problemsolving mindset. As an innovative thinker you constantly generate your own ideas. You are able to think about the finance domain of the future instead of just executing a finance role. You also have a healthy appetite for calculated risks an enabler not a blocker! You are confident and take ownership of your projects but also collaborate with and motivate your colleagues in helping to build a scalable finance domain of the future!
As part of the Controlling team you will help ensure the financial wellbeing of our NL DE and FR markets with a specific focus on leading the NL domain. Acting as the key contact for NL business teams youll collaborate closely with the Finance Operations team Group Controllers and Analysts to deliver impactful reports that capture the essence of Picnics financial story.
Tricks of the trade
- Collaboration: Work closely with different business teams on making our numbers accurate and complete
- Financial advice: Provide oversight and financial advice on the NL Finance topics
- Reporting: Challenge our operations teams in their periodic reports
- Handson: Show handson mentality in our daily finance operations
- Process leadership: Lead projects regarding our internal processes and controls
- Audit support: Support in yearend and audit tasks
Your superpowers
- Relevant Masters degree in Finance Economics and/or Accounting
- 4 years of experience in a Finance related role such as FP&A analyst controller financial due diligence or similar roles
- Strong analytical skills structured and accurate
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent MS Excel and data analysis skills
- Fluency in English both verbal and written. Fluency in Dutch German or French is advantageous.
- Accounting system knowledge (Workday is a plus)
