As a Field Service Engineer for Agilent you will work at a variety of labs so having an appetite for continuously learning about new instruments software and consumables is key. Your Role:
You will be responsible for supporting our customers with onsite installation implementation maintenance and repair of company and multivendor systems solutions. Our varied product lines include hardware software and networking products as well as operating systems.
Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites.
Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.
Performs maintenance and repairs.
Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance.
Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business.
Deliver fully integrated solutions which may include peripherals communications operating systems and applications software.
Train other field engineers and customers in the solutions.
Location: the ideal candidate will live/reside within 60 miles of Philadelphia CIty Limits
Job Requirement: Meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain site access unless prohibited by law. These requirements vary by customer/vendor and may include but are not limited to: postemployment background checks various forms of drug testing vaccinations fingerprinting proof of valid identification and/or adherence to customerspecific substance abuse programs. Your consent to participate in customer requested screening is a requirement of this position.
Qualifications
A Bachelors or master’s degree within the science field – e.g. chemistry analytical chemistry biochemistry biotechnology or similar
02 years of experience in a similar position or experience as an end user
Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving
Experience with the Agilent solutions is desired but not essential
Verbal and written communication is clear supportive and timely
You enjoy travelling and visiting customers

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least January 22 2025 or until the job is no longer posted. In the US this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.
The fulltime equivalent pay range for this position is $28.25 $52.97/hr plus eligibility for bonus stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training.
