Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and operate all technical equipment in the lounges including audio lighting and video systems
Set up and test equipment before each performance or event
Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during performances or events
Work closely with the entertainment team to ensure all technical requirements are met for each performance
Keep inventory of all equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and stored
Collaborate with the onboard technical team to ensure all equipment is in good working condition and any necessary repairs or replacements are made in a timely manner
Stay uptodate with industry developments and advancements in technology and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role preferably in a cruise ship or entertainment environment
Strong knowledge of audio lighting and video systems
Familiarity with industrystandard equipment and software
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
