Job Description
Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds testing and deployment.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Develop and maintain infrastructureascode (IaC) using tools like Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability and scalability of services.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery processes.
- Implement and maintain robust security practices within the DevOps lifecycle.
- Optimize system and application performance through monitoring and analysis tools like Prometheus Grafana or Datadog.
- Drive innovation by researching and implementing new DevOps tools and technologies.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Handson experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like Chef Puppet or SaltStack.
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Experience with observability tools like ELK Stack or Splunk.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of network protocols firewalls and load balancers.
- Experience with database administration and optimization.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
