We are currently seeking an Institute Coordinator to be responsible for the overall management of the Griffith Institute for Educational Research (GIER). Our Institute is home to a diverse range of members from across the Griffith community and focuses on ensuring that the benefits that can arise from educational opportunities are accessible to all the members of our society. We have a strong commitment to University principles of inclusion equity and social justice and seek to appoint an Institute Coordinator who can reflect those values.
The primary focus of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective coordination of the Institutes activities and resources. This role includes: identifying developing and managing effective administrative systems; providing support for a range of research development and grant administration activities; managing and promoting our strategic research programs (including active use of online materials and social media platforms); administration and management of the Institutes budget and accounts; analysis of data and preparation of reports tracking institute performance; coordination of events; oversight of Institute staff and support for the Director and leadership team.
Success in this role requires collaboration with the GIER leadership team GIER members (including staff and HDR candidates) relevant internal elements (such as Human Resources Finance Office for Research) and external providers.

The successful candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications or an equivalent combination of relevant skills knowledge and experience.

What we can offer
This is a continuing fulltime position and will be primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Mt Gravatt). As Griffith is a multisite University you may be required to work across other locations.
Salary Range
The fulltime base salary for a HEW Level 6 is in the range $89603 $95575 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation. The total FTE package is in the range $104835 $111823 per annum.
