General duties:
- Supervising and observing construction activities.
- Undertaking quality inspections and recording information as required concerning construction processes.
- Create and review the documentation required to construct and complete the projects you may be assigned.
- Undertaking any training needed to be able to perform the Duties attached to your Position (including without limitation any training necessary to work around a live railway line).
- Undertaking any other tasks deemed relevant by your Supervisor and/or Manager to the projects you may be assigned.
- Assist your supervisor and/or manager in completing any other tasks that are required to ensure the successful management and completion of the projects youre assigned to work on.
- Produce Construction Area Plans and Work Packs for approval before work commences.
- Demonstrating your commitment to a zeroharm safety culture and maintaining a safe workplace. Assisting in developing Workplace Health and Safety documentation for sitebased operations
Requirements:
- Recognised BSc Civil Engineering
- Australian PR or Citizen (or working holiday visa/sponsorship considered) (must be onshore).
- Australian Civil or Rail site experience working for a contractor
- Drivers licence
- Ability to work shifts as required
- Ability to relocate or DIDO/FIFO
