We are seeking a capable and enthusiastic Risk Manager to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and second line risk management advice and oversight to the entities and countries in South East Asia (SEA).
Your mission
- Be a critical partner to the APAC Head of Risk and SEA Risk lead in developing and executing a global risk management strategy tailored to the SEA region.
- Implement the Wise enterprise risk management framework risk appetite and other applicable risk policies at the local level to support SEA entities in managing risks effectively and meeting local regulatory requirements.
- Provide risk management advisory and secondline review and challenge for SEA entities including Operational Technology Regulatory Financial Crime Financial Third Party Conduct and Strategic risks.
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate risk insights into product changes new product and market launch and address emerging risks in the region.
- Monitor regional market trends regulatory developments and risk factors to assess their impact on the organisations risk profile and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare timely risk reports for senior management and the Boards highlighting key exposures trends and emerging risks in the SEA region.
Qualifications :
- 6 years of risk management experience in the financial services payments or fintech industry in the SEA region ideally with first line and second line experience.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and project managing risk management initiatives with strong business engagement.
- Extensive experience in enterprise risk operational risk regulatory risk and/or technology risk management.
- Experience with large enterprise partnership risk management would be an advantage.
- Deep understanding of regional market dynamics regulatory requirements and geopolitical factors impacting the SEA region.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with senior management regulators and stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to integrity and professionalism with ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
