Job Description

- May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse
- Coordinates total nursing care for patients
- Participates in patient and family teaching
- Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
Nurse to patient ratio: 1 to 4/5
Average daily patient census: 22
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Local Travelers Those who reside within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this need.
This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
8hrs nonbillable orientation
Callback Holiday and OT multipliers: 1.25%
Call: 4/hour
Charge: 3/hr
Requirement description : NOTE THIS IS A MED SURG POSITION!
BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED
- 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience Required
- May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg
- CHARGE RN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Previous Travel (at least 3 months) Required
- BSN preferred

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend/Holidays required if needed
