Job Title: Project Manager/SME Wholesale Lending

Location: Charlotte NC(34 days hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

Our client a top tier Management & Strategy Consulting firm is searching for an experienced Project Manager Wholesale Lending SME/BA (Baseline Establishment & Collateral Remediation) specializing in wholesale lending and regulatory compliance will support the clients commercial banking unit across two distinct project phases: Baseline Establishment (Phase 1) and Collateral Remediation (Phase 2). The role requires collaboration with commercial banking teams data analysis and proactive remediation to meet regulatory expectations ensuring data quality and accuracy in wholesale lending.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Phase 1: Baseline Establishment

  • Baseline Loan Identification: Establish a comprehensive baseline of wholesale loans through General Ledger (GL) reconciliation System of Record (SOR) analysis and iHub data validation.
  • Client Collaboration: Partner with commercial banking teams to secure LoB (Line of Business) signoff ensuring all inscope loans are accurately captured.
  • Data Sourcing & Gap Analysis: Engage with each SOR to address data gaps by working with LoB and operations teams ensuring all collateral values are correctly recorded.
  • Data Integration & Mapping: Coordinate with the iHub (commercial bank data warehouse) team to confirm accurate data mapping and provisioning to Liquidity Management ensuring seamless integration.

Phase 2: Collateral Remediation

  • Remediation Strategy Development: Collaborate with LoB leaders to develop and implement a remediation approach for wholesale lending collateral.
  • Data Inspection & Analysis: Analyze lending data within iHub review data elements and validate mappings against regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Issue Prioritization & Execution: Identify prioritize and sequence remediation activities by LoB or product area; support significant change events which may include rebooking loans as necessary.
  • Data Quality Improvement: Develop and implement solutions for data quality issues managing data quality rules and streamlining workflows to drive accuracy.

Skills:

  • Domain Expertise: Extensive experience in wholesale lending securitized lending collateral coverage loan analysis and corporate treasury.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Indepth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements (FR 2052a FR Y14 LCR).
  • Analytical & Data Management Skills: Proficiency in data analysis data remediation big data tools and statistical testing for data quality assurance.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with wholesale lending systems MS Excel (pivot tables) and database structures to facilitate robust data analysis and reporting.
