Job Description
Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has openings for Cardiac Surgery Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Corvallis OR 97330
Assignment Start Date: 1/21/2025
13 weeks Varied 8/10hour shift 40 hours per week guaranteed
The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed number of hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please contact a recruiter for full details.The Operating Room of Surgery provides cardiac care to surgical and procedural sedation patients. We provide service for the patient population of pediatrics adolescents adults and elderly patients. We work with a variety of provider specialties in caring for people going home that day or are being admitted to the hospital.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- One (1) year of scrubbing CVOR/Open Heart procedures experience or two (2) years of acute care scrubbing experience is required.
- Experience or training in computer applications preferred.
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- Healthcare Provider AHA BLS/BCLS required.
- Current documentation of certification to practice surgical technology in Oregon is required.
- Option 1
- Successful completion of a training program for surgical technologists in a branch of the armed forces of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corp.
- Successful completion of 16 hours of continuing education every two (2) years relevant to the medicalsurgical practice of surgical technology.
- Option 2
- Successful completion of a surgical technology education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
- Certification as a surgical technologist issued by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or successful completion of the CAAHEP or ABHES educational program within the past twelve months.
- Option 3
- Candidate has practiced surgical technology at least two (2) years between January 1 2014 and January 1 2017 in a hospital ambulatory surgical center or as an employee of a federal government agency or institution.
- Successful completion of 16 hours of continuing education every two (2) years relevant to the medicalsurgical practice of surgical technology.
EMR System: EPIC knowledge/experience preferred
Shift: Varies rotating weekends. Call expected
