Job Description
Job Posting: 3rd Class Operating Engineer
Location: Brampton ON
Job Type: Fulltime Permanent
Salary: $88000 $130000/year
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure boilers and heating systems operate efficiently through routine operation and maintenance practices.
- Conduct thorough inspections and execute preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems adhering to all safety standards.
- Diagnosed and repaired electrical systems including components such as lowvoltage circuitry and logic controllers.
- Manufacture custom parts as required to support ongoing maintenance activities.
- Analyze schematics to pinpoint and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing requests swiftly and maintaining open communication with facility management.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks and repair work for accurate documentation.
- Partner with the engineering team to identify opportunities for optimizing system performance.
Qualifications:
- 3rd Class Operating Engineer’s License
- 5 years experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- 5 years of experience working with HVAC systems boiler operations and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
- Experience with lowvoltage systems and logic controllers is an asset.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications in operating engineering or related disciplines are an asset
