Job Description:
- Strong DO178C Knowledge: Familiarity with the DO178C standard is crucial. Understand the objectives processes and activities outlined in the standard including planning development
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle including requirements analysis design coding and maintenance.
- Quality Assurance (QA) Processes: Be knowledgeable about quality assurance processes including the establishment of quality plans audits reviews and inspections.
- Configuration Management: Understand configuration management processes including version control baselining and the management of software and hardware configurations.
- Software Verification and Validation: Possess expertise in software verification and validation techniques such as test planning test case design test execution and test result analysis.
- Change Management: Understand change management processes including assessing the impact of proposed changes conducting impact analyses and maintaining configuration control.
- ProblemSolving and Analytical Skills: Have strong problemsolving and analytical skills to identify and resolve qualityrelated issues and to make datadriven decisions.
- Communication and Collaboration: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams including software developers system engineers and project managers.
- Documentation and Reporting: Be proficient in documenting qualityrelated activities writing reports and maintaining project documentation as per DO178C guidelines.
- Auditing and Compliance: Understand the principles of auditing and compliance to ensure adherence to DO178C requirements throughout the software development process and supporting in SOI audit certification activities.
- Problem Reporting and Tracking: Be experienced in using problem reporting and tracking tools to document and track software defects and nonconformances.
