Responsibilities
Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to migrate applications to our Azure cloud environment.
Work with application and infrastructure teams to enforce IAM controls and best practices within the cloud while engineering solutions to move systems to a cloud provider.
Take ownership of access related escalations to ensure our cloud migration project deadlines are on track.
Preferred Skills/Experience/Qualifications
3 years working with Active Directory Entra ID and Azure RBAC.
3 years of experience working with DevOps teams and CICD pipelines to support Infrastructure as Code or IAM as Code primarily using Gitlab/Terraform.
Certifications such as Azure Certified Administrator Associate (AZ104) Azure Certified Security Engineer Associate (AZ500) or Azure Certified Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC300).
This resource will be primarily taking on a Cloud IAM Engineering role working directly with app teams going through the cloud migration process to resolve authentication issues and generally guide folks through the process.
The candidate will need to have strong familiarity with Active Directory Entra ID and Azure RBAC as they will be troubleshooting and guiding on configuration of access on a regular basis.
Additionally the ideal candidate will have had some experience with git/CI pipelines and tools as they will need to define access in YAML/JSON and push changes through pipelines.
Experience troubleshooting application authentication/authorization and database security would be a strong plus.
We would ideally just do a single 1 hour long interview to gauge skillsets and they would involve a number of technical questions to ensure the candidate has practical experience.
This department/team is focused on the IAM security of our cloud platforms.
