Job Description
Our client requires the services of a Software Engineer (Advanced) Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Relevant IT Degree / Work Experience / Diploma
- 35 years experience as a FrontEnd Angular Dev
- Agile working experience advantageous
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proficiency with Angular Framework
- Typescript Expertise
- HTML/CSS
- CSS frameworks (Angular Material PrimeNG or Bootstrap)
- Rxjs and State Management soutions (NgRx NgXS)
- Testing Skills (jest jasmine vite)
- Version Control (git)
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
- Code Quality and Best Practices
- Understanding RESTful APIs
- Playwright e2e / Cypress
- CSharp
- CI/CD
- Self Starter
- Agile working experience
- Experience working with a team of UX designers.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools (e.g. Git Jenkins JIRA)
- Experience of agile methodologies particularly Scrum
- ProblemSolving Skills
- Communication and Teamwork
ROLE:
- Development and maintenance on platform/application
- Review and present proposed system solution to IT Project Manager / Leader and User Management or System owner
- Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements.
- Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards)
- Meet with end users and gather requirements.
- Facilitate daily standups.
- Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required.
- User training
- Compiling of user and operational manuals
- Understanding of integration between different technologies
- Coordination between development and support environments
- Planning and monitoring
- Eliciting requirements
- Requirements organisation
- Translating and simplifying requirements
