Job Description
To support the Engineering team in maintaining the overall appearance and internal workings of the Hotel.
- Maintaining the physical appearance and overall condition of all public areas such as lounges health club public washrooms and back of house areas
- Frequent testing of the chemical levels of the pool and whirlpool
- Cleaning pool and whirlpool filters backwash and tiles to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Maintaining the physical appearance of the grounds including collecting garbage plowing and shoveling snow cutting grass and pruning shrubbery and trees
- Attending to scheduled room checks and room calls noting condition of rooms and required repairs
Qualifications :
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Plumbing or electrical training is an asset
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Demonstrates a mechanical aptitude
- Keen attention to detail
- Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
