What You Will Do in This Role:
As a Front End Engineer on the UX Engineering Platform team you will work with a talented group of developers to build nextgeneration technologies on the ServiceNow cloud platform. This team is responsible for the innovation features and architecture that make ServiceNow a powerful platform used by many Fortune 500 companies. You will have the opportunity to work with cuttingedge technologies such as mobile development UI component libraries predictive intelligence workflow & automation and developer tools & IDEs.
- You will directly impact our customers productivity by building features that enable them to work more efficiently.
- You will engineer highly interactive scalable webbased application UIs that can handle complex application requirements.
- You will leverage your experience with modern web experiences performance optimization architecture and objectoriented design to push the boundaries of our platform.
- You will improve existing user interfaces to enhance interactivity intuitiveness performance and overall user satisfaction.
- You will create tools libraries and frameworks to enable other developers to build upon.
- You will collaborate with teams across the organization to streamline application development and deployment.
- You will work closely with UX designers and backend developers (services and database teams) to ensure seamless integration and interactivityor take a fullstack approach and use our platform to build the backend services and data models you need.
- You will apply new technologies and innovations to enhance the functionality of the platform.
- You will help deliver an outstanding experience for our customers.
- You will be part of a team that is leading the evolution of our platforms user interfaces.
Qualifications :
To succeed in this role you should have:
- 02 years of experience in the software industry
- A passion for software development and problem solving
- Experience designing and implementing highly interactive user interfaces for hightraffic web applications
- Proficiency with JavaScript libraries such as AngularJS Bootstrap React Node.js jQuery and Prototype
- Familiarity with technologies like AJAX JSON HTML XML CSS SOAP REST and their associated frameworks
- Experience with Java or another objectoriented programming language
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with opensource technologies like Linux Apache/Tomcat and MySQL
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field (optional but preferred)

For positions in this location we offer a base pay of $111200 $172400 plus equity (when applicable) variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. We also offer health plans including flexible spending accounts a 401(k) Plan with company match ESPP matching donations a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
