Job Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible impactful and financial results for Visas network clients including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting data analytics brand management marketing operational and macroeconomics Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
The Strategy and Operations (S&O) team supports the North America VCA team through setting standards developing foundational processes assisting with budget and driving operational performance for the consulting organization. This Sr. Manager Business Operations role will work on strategic and operational projects that have large impact across the team with a particular focus on all things related to our ValueinKind (VIK) program. When Visa structures longterm partnership agreements with clients (i.e. Deals) an increasing proportion of the client incentives are structured as a promise of future valueadded services known as ValueinKind (VIK). This is a key aspect of Visas deal strategy it motivates clients to partner with Visa on programs that help them grow their business and in turn helps Visa grow and diversify revenues.
As the Sr. Manager Business Operations you will help enable the teams growth by leading a revenuedriven program analyzing actuals tracking participation across several delivery teams maintaining forecasting and actuals and serving as a strategic partner for the advisory teams and other stakeholders. The role will work closely with account executives Advisory delivery leads and financial stakeholders.
- Proactively engage with Visa internal teams in regular strategic & planning discussions
- Leads initiatives and contributes to closing engagement by identifying potential opportunities
- Develop frameworks approaches solutions and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges
- Collaborate crossfunctionally (e.g. marketing services sales risk) and across regional teams to execute projects in ways that use the breadth and depth of Visas resources
- Produce insights analyses and recommendations to improve client performance boost growth drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic mentorship for client priorities across the verticals and segments
- Ability to reliably manipulate and analyze large data sets (industry and Visa) to identify meanings insights and recommendations for clients
- Support the build of new scalable solutions toolkits standard methodology documents and applications
- Effectively communicate program status progress and key milestones to stakeholders
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated intellectual and analytical difficulty
Outstanding communication storytelling and facilitation skills
Collaborative diplomatic and flexible able to work effectively in matrixed organization.
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 127400 to 195750 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
