Finance Trainee Greece

We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Finance Trainee to join our team on a 12month breakthrough journey. 

This entrylevel position will provide handson experience in both accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will support the finance department in various tasks gaining valuable insights and skills in financial management.

You will be based in Athens reporting to Accounting Manager Greece and responsible to undertake tasks such as:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Engage in monthend budget RFC & yearend closing procedures.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Prepare and analyze financial data for internal and external reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
• Work with SAP for financial data management and reporting.
• Utilize sales tools and systems to support financial analysis and reporting such as preparation of standard & ad hoc analysis & reports to Leading Management Team and Sales team to facilitate business decisions and commercial actions.
• Serving as Finance liaison between functions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

For this role as a Finance Trainee were looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field; an MBA or Master will be considered an asset.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel PowerPoint and Word.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with SAP BI tools and sales tools/systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in both Greek and English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a fastpaced environment.
