Job Description
- Guest Engagement: Warmly welcome guests upon arrival escort them to their tables and ensure their comfort throughout their dining experience.
- Menu Knowledge: Provide detailed information about menu items including ingredients and preparation methods and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests ensuring all special requests are communicated to the kitchen and bar.
- Service Coordination: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth service flow.
- Upselling: Proactively promote menu items beverages and special promotions to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Problem Resolution: Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally striving to resolve issues to the guests satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow team members to provide seamless service and contribute to a positive working environment.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is desirable.
