Job Description
Job Summary: The SDET will design and implement automated tests to ensure software quality working closely with development and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automated test scripts (Java/Python) and contribute to Functional and Performance Test Automation frameworks
- Design test plans and cases; execute and maintain test suites.
- Validate and test Big data applications and services
- Provide test results and stay updated with industry trends.
- Utilize Generative AI Tools and Technologies to optimize day to day tasks
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or related field.
- 1.6 years of software testing and development experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language Java (preferred) or Python
- Knowledge and experience in functional/regression test automation including backend and frontend automation
- Strong technical SDETs with experience in large enterpriseclass applications skilled in exploratory testing through understanding of domain architecture and requirements.
- Ability to work on E2E automation to test various workflows of the software system
- Previous experience in Functional Integration component level testing would be good.
- Working knowledge of Linux
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Passionate about quality engineering and continuous improvement across process product and technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Big Data ecosystem and services like Spark Trino Druid Flink Temporal
- Knowledge of GENAI Tools and Technologies
Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team environment
