Job Description
Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Applications) for our direct client.
Location: Sunnyvale CA
Duration: 6 months
Estimated pay range: $48$60/hr per client contract and candidate skills experience and work location.
Job Description
- Design enhance and maintain objectoriented Python libraries and applications used for manufacturing factory machine control and testing.
- Develop pytest unit tests and integration tests for new and existing code.
- Most of the work is for backend Linux software.
- Additional work is available for frontend web development.
Skills and Experience
- Expert in Object Oriented Python Requests sockets multithreading
- RESTful APIs JSON
- Testdriven development using pytest fixtures mock
- Git version control Jenkins CI/CD
- Desired: Vue3 Framework HTML JavaScript Node.js

- Software Engineer (Applications): Analyzes designs programs debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local networked cloudbased or Internetrelated computer programs.
- Code may be used in commercial or enduser applications such as materials management financial management HRIS mobile apps or desktop applications products.
- Using current programming language and technologies writes code completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
- Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
- May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
